Mules Man of the Match: Lloyd Giles

The Mules hopes of having a clean sweep of Mid Glamorgan District trophies were thwarted today thanks to a last minute penalty goal by Tonmawr to leave the final score Mules 19 Tonmawr 20.
The feeling in the Mules camp after the match was that of disappointment and frustration especially as they had thought they had scored three perfectly good tries that had been disallowed by today's match officials. 

Nevertheless the Mules can look back upon yet another very successful season
having won both the league and league play off competitions.
All players deserve credit for their whole hearted commitment and skill levels combined with an ethos of playing attractive running rugby at all times.
The coaches Mark Jones and Kurl Knight, supported by Team Manager Mike Guy, deserve huge thanks for all their endeavours and also for introducing a level of professionalism into the way 'the seconds' have approached each game this season.
