Many thanks to all players, referees and supporters who all contributed in making the annual Mark Clarke sevens a success. The eventual tournament winners were Bridgend Athletic who came out on top in a very hard fought final against a powerful Glamorgan Wanderers outfit.
It was also very pleasing to see Gordon Clarke in attendance who made the presentations of trophies to both teams and officials at the final whistle.
Also thanks to the Kenfig Hill members, committee men and bar staff who worked tirelessly throughout the day of the tournament.
And finally a special thanks to Richard (Dickie) Jones who's efforts in the weeks and months leading up to Bank Holiday Monday ensured that the tournament went ahead with a total of 12 youth teams competing. |
